Ganja La Pass trekking provides the wild experience of the adventure in Langtang Himalayan. This trekking offers an unbound opportunity of exploring Tibetan and Tamang Villages, it also offers an opportunity to climb small peaks and to visit glaciers at contentedly low elevations. The forest in this region has temperate and subalpine vegetation. Wildlife in the forest includes migratory birds, Thar, deer, monkeys, and Pika. The scenic beauty here is breathtaking and the trek is more adventurous.
Langtang valley lies just below the main Himalayan range to the northern Tibet Border and lies at a slightly lower range of snow-capped peaks to the south. Kyanjin Gompa is the last Tibetan Village from where a trek starts to Helambu over Ganja La Pass. The trek is difficult and challenging, the pass opens for trekkers during autumn and spring.
Langtang Ganjala pass trek begins from Sybru Bensi and ends at Melamchi Bazar. Trek starts from Sybru Bensi, follows the Langtang River to the east and reach Kyanching Gompa. The trek then reaches to Langtang national park popular known as Kyanching Gompa which is surrounded by Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Yala peak, Naya Kanga, Gaurishanker, Urkeinmang, Loenpo Gang and Kangchenpo etc.
Trekking to Langtang Ganja La Pass requires technical climbing equipment and the trekkers need to be skilled in the use of equipment like rope, crampon, ice axes etc.
