The adventure begins with a short flight to the charming suburb of Lukla lies in the heart of the Solukhumbu region of Nepal. The short trek to Phakding, Namche Bazaar.

Best Time for Everest View Trek

Everest view trek can be done throughout the year because this is an easy trekking harbour compared with others. February to Mid June, September – November is the best time for trekking. Because the weather will be sunny and warm with the astonishing landscape. December and January are the Winter season and cold can be snow on the path, July & August are rainy times, trekking can be done but perceptibility can be low or not clear due to rain and Lukla Flight may get aborted.

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1,345m).

Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345m). There you will be met by our Airport Representative and transferred to hotel by private tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel at 3 stars level, inclusive breakfast.

Day 2

Preparation and Briefing for Departure to Everest Region.

This is a busy Day for briefing you about expedition, documentation and last minute shopping and preparation for departure to the trekking route, you will be kept in getset position. Your overnight accommodation may arrange at same hotel in BB Plan.

Day 3

Kathmandu - Lukla Scenic Flight and short trek to Phakding.

We take you to Kathmandu domestic airport to make you fly to Lukla from Kathmandu at early morning with pack breakfast or take breakfast in Lukla and Trek (4 hrs) to Phakding (2,652m) where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis.

Day 4

Phakding to Namche Bazaar Trek.

After having breakfast at the same teahouse/lodge your trek begins from Phakding toward Namche Bazaar (3,440m) which takes about 5-6 hours through colorful Khumbu villages where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis.

Day 5

Rest day for acclimatization.

Today is the rest day for you but you may hike to famous Everest View Hotel (3,800m) (3 hrs) to catch a glimpse of Mt. Everest and back to Namche, visit Hilary and Sherpa museum. You get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis at the same.

Day 6

Namche Bazaar to Lukla Trek.

Today is your last day for Trek (7 hrs) from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840m) where you get teahouse or lodge accommodation in full board basis.

Day 7

Fly Back to Kathmandu.

Today you fly from Lukla to Kathmandu same about 35 minute and we transfer to your confirmed Hotel with BB Plan accommodation.

Day 8

Kathmandu Sightseeing.

Nepal Royal  tourism holiday organizes a half day city tour in and around Kathmandu Valley to make you live touch with the monuments, temples and monasteries such as durbar square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath or Swoyambhunath etc. and provide you leisure time for rest and preparation for final departure of your destination to the next day. Your overnight accommodation remains unchanged in BB Plan. Royal Nepal also offers farewell dinner at a typical Nepali cultural restaurant.

Day 9

Kathmandu to Your Port of Destination.

After breakfast, the trip ends, our Airport Representative will drop you to the Kathmandu international airport for your final flight departure from Nepal.

The month of March to May in Spring and September to December in autumn seasons are considered the best for the Everest panorama Trek as the weather conditions become favorable during this time, providing you with good visibility and a suitable atmosphere for Everest panorama trekking.

No, there is no age limit for the trek to Everest panorama but, you need to be in good physical shape and have a positive attitude. We also suggest you to prior to the excursion though we suggest you to please see your doctor and obtain necessary permission and advice, as well as medications for traveling in extreme altitude prior to the excursion.

During trekking, you will be served meals in the teahouses. Typical meals are noodles, rice, pasta or potato dishes along with vegetables and egg/chicken/meat dishes. Other items mostly served as breakfasts include Tibetan, egg, pancake, bread, porridge, muesli, and toasts with peanut butter and honey.

A teahouse trekking accommodation will be made for you for the Everest panorama trekking whereby you will be able to stay at tea house(Local lodge) and have wholesome food and net and clean comfortable bed throughout your trekking journey. This form of arrangement also allows you to carry less baggage; you can trek at your own pace and enjoy the Everest panorama on your own schedule. It is also an eco-friendly way of trekking whereby trekkers can have more contact with the local’s sherpa peoples.

Most of the teahouses on the Everest panorama trail have squat toilet facilities but recently built lodges have western-style toilets as well. Nowadays, flush toilets are also being introduced with number of increasing foreign mountaineers each year. It is highly recommended to carry your own toilet paper and other required toiletries. Hot shower facilities are available till Gorakshep. The most common type is a bucket shower, usual buckets with tap filled with hot water and placed in a shower room. Hot shower costs from US$ 4 to 15 per use and the price increases along with the elevation. Attached bathrooms and toilets are not available unless you book for a luxury lodge during the EBC trek.
