Day 1

Charaudi drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara or Chitwan

The journey that sets out in the early morning hours heads to Charaudi, the point of entry for the Trishuli River Rafting trip. Before we get into the rafts to put the trip in motion, a briefing session on the general trip information from an experienced guide is really helpful. Our raft from Charaudi to Kurintar is the first day of the trip and the rapids we encounter are considered to be between grade 2 and 3 based on the classification of the rapids.

We have our lunch picnic on a beach close to the Trishuli River and it is surrounded by some huge stones that have an extraordinary shape of the nature. Once fed and energized, the river will take you to the Trishuli gorge. As the canyon shrinks the walls therefore become very steep and well covered with trees. The raft experiences high speed currents as well as rapids that continue to grow both in size and frequency. It will be arranged for the drive from Kuringhat to Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan after the Trisuli River ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌rafting.
