December to February can produce very clear mornings, but colder temperatures, frost and winter weather can affect operations at higher elevations. The monsoon period from June through August is the least predictable for this route.

Cloud, rain, haze and reduced mountain visibility can interfere with helicopter operations, so travelers flying during this period should keep additional flexibility in their schedule.
