Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu- Welcome Day

Arrival in Kathmandu by your respective Nepal Royal Tourism Holiday Pvt Ltd Team’s staff and guide will greet you upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the respective hotels in Thamel, tourist hub of Kathmandu. After refreshment, our guide / leader brief you regarding hotels, Nepali cultures, tours and Ghalegaun Trekking, and later hosts you for a traditional welcome meal at a Nepalese restaurant featuring a cultural folk performance.
Day 2
Drive from Kathmandu to Khudi via Beshishar

We have an early drive to mid west of Nepal aiming towards Besisahar. Besisahar is the main town on the trail heading to Manang and Ghale Gaun. Likewise, our night stop is Khudi which requires the ride on off road. We pass through the village and terrace farms while landing to Khudi village.
Day 3
Trek from Khudi to Ghale Gaun

- Trek Distance: 11 Km

This is the first day to walk on which we reach to Ghale Gaun. Speifically, we walk through ridges and feel the cooler alpine climate. The route passes through pleasant forest of rhododendron, oaks and pine and spread out Sheppard’s huts and shelters over wide green meadows guiding Balungpani , small farm village at with incredible views of Annapurna, Lamjung and Manaslu mountain range. From here, Ghalegaun is an hour away walk. Ghalegaon have the tradition to welcome guests with greater Gurung/ Ghale ethnic group traditions. You have enough leisure time to explore Ghalegaun village, locals, lifestyle, culture and beautiful surroundings. Not far away, you’ll find a tea garden, panoramic viewpoint, temple and monasteries.
Day 4
Trek from Ghale Gaun to Ghanpokhara village

An enjoyable time around Ghalegaon with interesting Gurung culture, we move from Ghalegaon onward to another Gurung settlement called Ghanpokhara. The trek takes you on a pleasing route through unspoiled forests, scenic terrain, and views of glittering peaks. The path winds slowly with rises and falls as you make your way to Ghanpokhara. Ghanpokhara is a large farm village embellished with local culture, lifestyle and farmlands. Warm reception with time to observe the village life and views is provided.
Day 5
Trek Back to Khudi from Ghanpokhara

With the enough exposure to Gurung/Ghale culture in Ghalegaun and Ghanpokhara, a heartfelt farewell motivates us to reach Khudi on the return journey. The route feels simpler since you won’t be out of breath, thanks to the gentle downhill. You’ll enjoy a steady walk, taking in the scenery of hills, the village, trails down below, and the canopy of trees and distant mountains overhead. Once your walk is done, settle in at Khudi and relax during the final evening in the village on this trek.

Drive Back to Kathmandu
