Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu

Once you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal Royal Tourism greeted by our representative who will arrange your transfer to the hotel. When you are free after coming to your room, you may rest and get rid of the travel fatigue. Through a short meeting, we will inform the participants about the Tibet visa procedure, trip guidelines, and the information about the influence of the altitude on the human body
Day 2
Submission of Visa Application and Sightseeing Tour

After having your breakfast, we shall go to submit your application for a group Tibet visa through our official channel. Later, you will have a guided cultural sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. Patan Durbar Square is your first destination, where you will be able to see beautiful traditional Newari architecture besides other Ancient artistic heritage. Then after, you will walk through Kathmandu Durbar Square, the royal palace complex of the past. Finally, you will have the chance to enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding of the Kathmandu Valley at Swayambhunath Stupa that is known as the Monkey Temple too.

A Day of Visiting Holy Temples in Kathmandu Valley

The first attraction on your schedule for today will be Pashupatinath Temple, the most holy Hindu temple in Nepal, is situated on the river bank of Bagmati. Next, you shall go to Budhanilkantha Temple to observe the large figure of the Sleeping Vishnu which is sculptured from a single stone. The journey at Boudhanath will lead you to one of the biggest Buddhist stupas worldwide and also a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism. The rest of the evening is entirely yours.
Day 4
Free Time in Kathmandu (A Day for Visa Processing) Day, spending the whole day with a short trek.

This day is set as a free and leisure day during which the Tibet visa approval is expected. You may either shop and eat in the local markets of Thamel, indulge in the Nepali cuisine, or simply take a nap in the hotel. On request, spa treatments or short cultural walks can be arranged.
Day 5
Visa Collection and Tour Preparation Day

The day after getting the Tibet visa, it is the day to prepare for the tour. Our safety team will carry out a detailed presentation which will cover topics such as road running conditions, safety measures, what to bring, and how to get used to the altitude. Day 6
Flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa

After taking an early breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for a flight to Lhasa that will present you with amazing views of the Himalayas including Mount Everest in case of good weather. Upon your arrival at Gonggar Airport, a Tibetan guide will be waiting for you, who will then take you to your hotel in Lhasa. You may rest, relax or take a walk in the fresh air to help your body get used to the new altitude.

Lhasa City Sightseeing

You will see the historic and religious most important structures of Lhasa throughout the day. The highest place you will go to is the Potala Palace, which symbolizes the beauty of Tibetan architecture and the previous residence of the Dalai Lama. After that, visit Jokhang Temple, the most sacred temple in Tibet. Then around Barkhor Street, the pilgrimage circuit and traditional marketplace, you can have a little walk. Besides, you will also be taken to Ramoche Temple, which is the second important monastery of Lhasa in both cultural and religious aspects.

Today you visit the natural cave meditation site of the Yerpa Drak Cave Complex after having your breakfast. Then, make your way to Drepung Monastery, which was the largest monastery on earth back in the time and also a learning center. Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse via Yamdrok Lake

The journey you are undertaking today will take you over the Tibetan Plateau. Day 10
Shigatse to Everest Base Camp via Sachya

At first, you will explore the Tashilhunpo Monastery, where the Panchen Lama resides. At 5,200 meters, visit the north side of Everest Base Camp while enjoying the stunning view of Mount Everest.
Day 11
Drive from Rongbuk to Saga

After having your guided tour and breakfast at Rongbuk, got to Old Tingri and enjoy great sights of the Himalayas. Drive from Saga to Mansarovar Lake

Mansarovar Exploration and Drive to Darchen

Start your day with a fresh and spicy holy water bath in Mansarovar Lake followed by a little rest and prayers session on the lakeside. Drive to Yamadwar and Start Kailash Kora – Trek to Diraphuk

By foot, starting from Yamadwar, you will follow the sacred trail for the next few days. After walking for a while, you will come to Diraphuk Gompa, sitting in front of the great Mt. Kailash. It is believed that one living here would have the greatest spiritual power because of the amazing view.

Kailash Kora Continues – Trek to Zuthulphuk via Dolma La Pass

The whole day on the Kora you will be doing this day will definitely be the most difficult one but also the most satisfying one. On the top of the Dolma La Pass (5,660m), the highest point on the whole path, you will be passing the sacred Gauri Kund lake. Then you will continue your way down to Zuthulphuk Monastery which is believed to have been founded by Milarepa, one of the greatest yogis in Tibet.
Day 16
Complete Kailash Kora and Drive to Saga

On the last part of the Kora, you get to the Mani Wall, and then you are very close to Darchen. After that, you drive back to Saga. This way you have completed the holy circumambulation of Mount Kailash.
Day 17
Drive from Saga to Kyirong via Milarepa Cave

On the way today, you will take a trip to Milarepa Cave, which can be reached after a nice walk from the highway. This holy place is linked with the great Tibetan saint Milarepa. After the trip, keep driving to Kyirong, a green and lower-altitude town near the Nepal border, thus, allowing better acclimatization.
Day 18
Drive from Kyirong to Kathmandu via Rasuwagadhi

After breakfast, head to the Rasuwagadhi border and finish your immigration formalities. Once you have crossed into Nepal, keep going to Kathmandu via beautiful hills and river valleys. When you get there, a vehicle will be waiting to take you to your hotel where you can rest.

Departure from Kathmandu
